Situated along Route 216 near Pierceville, Pennsylvania is a farmer's market called the Pierceville Station Farm Market. However, local patrons simply call it Pierceville Station. Founded in 2003 by Jeannie Beall, the shop is located in a building that used to belong to a sandwich and ice cream shop called Rosie's in the 1960s. After extensive renovations and remodeling, the Pierceville Station began as a plant nursery, selling flowers, plants, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and the supplies used in gardening, such as mulch and fertilizers.

In 2005, Pierceville Station began selling snowballs, as well as other refreshments such as cold sodas, drinks, and other snacks. Several of the patrons often told Jeannie that they remembered coming to the location before it was Pierceville Station as kids to buy ice cream from the previous ice cream shop. She received several requests to begin selling ice cream in her shop. In 2006, Pierceville Station began selling ice cream, milk shakes, and hot fudge sundaes.

Pierceville Station prides itself on selling and serving products that are from local businesses. All of the flowers and plants are grown locally, some of them by Jeannie Beall at her own home. The iced teas and drinks, as well as the ice cream used, come from Turkey Hill, which is based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The ice cream toppings and snowball flavorings come from the near by Hanover Candy Company. The crafts sold in the store are made by local people or purchased from smaller local businesses. Mike's Nuts products are also sold here, which come from Mike's Nut Shop in York, Pennsylvania.
